About the Area

"Carré dOr" translates as the Golden Square and is truly the heart of Nice city centre. This area along with the Musiciens area which is just next door (and which is also referred to as the Carré d'Or by many) is the prime area in the city centre to own property in.

Much sought-after by locals, holiday-home seekers and investors for its high rental potential you are sure to see high capital appreciation if you buy here.

The Carré d or includes the Zone Piétonne (the Pedestrian street at the heart of Nice's chic shopping district; also called Rue Masséna), Place Massena, Boulevard Victor Hugo and all of the roads in between.

The elegant Musiciens area is just North of Victor Hugo and stretches up to the train station. You will find a huge range of residences here, from typically Niçois buildings through to the grandest and most ornate Belle Epoque residences.
