Nice Fleurs, Gambetta and Grosso areas

Avenue des Fleurs is in fact the continuation of the élite Boulevard Victor Hugo and it stretches west a short distance to Boulevard Grosso. THe Fleurs area begins just after Boulevard Gambetta which is a long boulevard stretching from the Promenade up to the train station.

The roads surrounding Avenue des Fleurs and Grosso are known as the "quartier des Fleurs" and the area is only a couple of minutes walk maximum to the Promenade and the beaches.

It's a quietly elegant area with many older-style buildings (mixed with a few more modern ones, particularly on Avenue des Fleurs itself) and is quieter than many other areas in the town centre.

Well-served with shops and buses and only a 10 minute walk to the Pedestrian zone so you can be in the very heart of things after just a short stroll from your front door.

Boulevard Gambetta itself has some gorgeous buildings on it, is well served by buses and the many streets running off it have some fabulous examples of Belle Epoque architecture.
